The seventh song from our debut album 'Monument', released on the 5th of August 2022.
lyrics
Lyrics:
Empty eyes staring at the screen glaring
Mass psychosis setting in, information overload
Fear, is it even safe to go outside?
Panic, sit behind your screen and hide
Terror, real or fake, intertwine collide
Jacked in to all the lies, addicted to the hype
Scrolling, paranoia growing
Hysterical binary code
Masses flocking to their tablets
New sensations to behold
Hypnotize entire nations
Reduce the truth to nothingness
Spiralling into damnation
Fact or fraud is meaningless
Lie, cheat, fool
Manufacturing delirium
Hypnotizing ourselves
Neurotic age of rotting minds
Swallowing the bait whole
Close the doors and shut the blinds
Psychosis, fear fills your mind
Psychosis, panic designed
Psychosis, logic maligned
Lock the doors and shut the blinds
We tell us how to think, we tell us who is right
We agitate and instigate then leave us there to fight
Orchestrating our reality
A composed cacophony
Manipulating ourselves
Neurotic, hate-filled, mad and blind
Never turn a page, just scroll
Close the doors of once open minds

Ominum is a thrash metal band from Gothenburg, Sweden. The band's music focuses on the heaviness-aspect of the genre as well as non-linear songwriting. Debut album 'Monument' and follow-up EP 'War for Peace' out now!
An album full of that kind of chunky, beefy thrash riffs I could listen to all day, comes crunching as dry as a bone! The vocals are a insistently pissed off parlando, just right to make me pissed off too while listening - there's always a reason! Perfect for venting mentally! It Is The Riffs
I just found these guys and after celebrating Fearsick I immediately came here and had to buy this as well. It might eben be better than Fearsick but who cares. Both are phenomenally good. Old schoolish perfection with powerful modern production. Every song is a fucking killer. mourner
